Thank you for participating in the 2014 ANS Nuclear Art & Multimedia Contest.

2014 theme: Get to Know Nuclear

We challenged middle and high school students across the U.S. to showcase their artistic talents and educate the public about the benefits of nuclear science and technology.  From medical applications, electricity generation, and even smoke detectors, students submitted memes and posters about the everyday benefits of radiation.

One talented young artist – Alex Rossi (age 18, AZ) was awarded a set of four CD-V 700 Geiger counters, and a set of alpha, beta, gamma sources for his school’s science department.
